A Bit About Us

The Carlson family has a rich history of entrepreneurship, dating back to the launch of Sportech, Inc. in 1993 when the idea for the "Lightshield" was born -- a  snowmobile headlight cover. Dallas and Chris Carlson started a business out of the back of a pickup truck shortly thereafter, relying on their innovation, creativity and passion. 

29 years, and multiple business ventures later, the Carlson Family is committed to making a measurable impact by supporting non-profits and ministries close to their heart and in-line with their values.
